A two-day weekend kayak surfing workshop for the paddler who has spent time in the surf, and is now ready to take their skills to the next level.  This is the class that takes you from being surfed, to surfing the waves in control!

Day one will focus on reading waves, positioning for take-off and timing, bottom turns bracing and different take-off techniques.  Day two gets more into tactics for positioning on the wave, staying in control, peel outs, and for those who are ready, top-turns and foam pile recoveries!

Experience with previous surf classes is required, and a reliable roll is highly encouraged.   This course is expected to be limited to five participants, so there is plenty of personalized coaching.

Shared lodging may be available in a rental home (additional cost).
